Mercury mariner boats pee hole
Or is this perfectly normal. I have a Universal , salt water cooled engine, in my Catalina 27 sailboat. They really helped put my nerves at ease. I couldn't be more satisfied! VicS, Thanks, yes I looked for an outlet hose and saw nothing readily noticable other than the one port directly on the back of the motor which was only producing exhaust or at least there was air pressure coming out of it. I look more at consistancy than the number. Once I pulled it back off I realized I had not got the water tube lined up right and it was not in the port to send water through the block. Would be interesting to find out. I bought it this past winter. Unlike a Yamaha which is a cold pisser. Shop Prop Finder new!
TASMANIA- MAINFRAME
It should only take me minutes this afternoonto rig it up, as I have a good tap-n-die set and hose clamp collection. Once I got it lined up right it worked great. I've owned a couple of Evinrude two strokes but I'm not much more than a shade-tree mechanic. Those Merc V6 2 strokes are good solid motors, it might be a worthwhile project. Please keep the opinions coming - I really appreciate them!!
Compression Testing Older Mercury
Description: August 10th, , Mercury Outboard no pee hole discharge Just a thought, i had my water pump replaced and it wouldn't pee. I've dealt with and am dealing with this right now. Used outboards are always a bit of a crap shoot but the fact it started ran and has even compression would allow me to make an offer if the boat is other wise sound and what I am looking for.
